I had a severe heart attack on Jan. 11, 2017 and I’m quite lucky I am still here! I had many warning signs which included shortness of breathe, dizzy spells, a persistent toothache, a choking episode, and finally a severe pain in my side.

If you are having any of these symptoms you may think it’s heartburn…don’t ignore it. I had 5 stents placed in my heart, and only because a nurse at my job recognized what was happenning I was saved…I’m grateful.

Please email me if I can answer any questions. I spent one week in ICU, and almost another in the step down unit…horrible experience!
