With the aging population expected to triple in size from now until 2040, it’s no surprise this group will continue to adopt new technology aimed at making their lives easier. GreatCall CEO David Inns recently said, “As a company that is dedicated to serving this population, and believes that technology can significantly benefit our customers, we are committed to raising awareness of the stories and needs of older adults.”
In late 2016, we commissioned a series of short films about aging in America. We’ve just released the series, “Through Your Eyes” which tells the story of an Italian-American widower, who lets technology into his life – initially to stay connected to his granddaughter and, with a little practice, to find a long-lost love. The five-part series was written and directed by Elisa-Sofia Fioretti, a recent graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York.
Our hope is to get the conversation started about the aging population and how their needs and wants will play a major role in the ever-changing world of technology for decades to come.

I really enjoyed is first video. I have been on computers and now cell phones for years but I can understand what people are ping through as have helped others to learn more on how to stay I in touch with their families just as I have been able to stay closer in touch wit mine. After my mom passed away I as oldest daughter found ways to keep an care for my dad in his own home he was diagnosed with alzheimers an he lived for next 5 year till 2013 bless my parents for their love an encouragement to live. And with little help from any of those so called organizations that are suppose to help you. That’s only if you have Money.. Im 61yrs young. My kids try to keep pace with me…take care of your parents who need care. Keep in touch. Learn those computer tech skills. an as we get older stay busy active with outside home activities.. Volunteer..there are many who still need your wisdom an knowledge
